ADVOCACY
To Make Our Voices Heard
Through Loving and Non-violent Actions

The Advocacy Action Team identifies climate change-related issues that could be advanced by our public actions at the congregational, local, state and national levels. We research  issues and develop positions based on scientific, economic, and faith-based considerations.  Actions can include issuing resolutions, writing letters to the editor, giving testimony at public hearings, gathering outside the offices of corporate or government entities with signs and speeches, holding or joining rallies, visiting public officials, and encouraging environmentally responsible investments. See our Advocacy Pages for more information about our positions, policies, and actions.
