How to Save Wasted Energy (and Money) In a House of Worship

Photo of a house of worship with various text boxes illustrating ways to save energy.

Is your house-of-faith wasting money that your congregation could apply to its ministries?  The picture above shows many ways in which you may be.

The North Carolina Council of Churches Ecojustice Energy Working Group can help!  They provide a free Energy Saving Analysis (ESA) for any house-of-faith to help you find your energy strengths and weaknesses.  Then they can help you think about how you can change your building’s weaknesses into strengths, in many cases at no or low cost.  As an output of the ESA, they will also provide you with a detailed written report of their findings and recommendations, and if you wish, they’re happy to discuss and help you prioritize the recommendations to best fit your situation.

Their assessments and follow-up discussions are provided by professional, usually retired, energy experts at no cost.

Ready to find your way to energy savings?

Contact them here https://ejc.ncchurches.org/climate-energy/ to initiate your ESA, or if your need to talk first, Email them at info@ncchurches.org.
