Join ICCT’s Interfaith Climate Advocates Network (ICAN)
In January of 2026, ICCT’s Advocacy Team launched the Interfaith Climate Advocates Network or ICAN, with a webinar series titled, Advocating with Compassion. The goal of this initiative is to encourage more involvement in the important work of advocating for the environment—even (and especially) if you’ve never done it before.
When you join our ICAN initiative, you will be paired with a small group of voters who live in your voting district, based on your NC legislators. Some group members have years of experience and some are brand new to advocacy. All are welcome! Groups will begin by building relationships with their NC Senators and Representatives, but will also plan to meet with their respective members of the US Congress and local representatives. All groups will receive training and support to make advocacy less intimidating and more effective.
