Combining worship with great outdoors

While giving a weather report at the beginning of a worship service is usually cliché, on Oct. 20 in Wilmot, Ont., it would have been redundant.

Wilmot Forest Church — a new initiative of Burning Bush Forest Church and Wilmot Mennonite Church — doesn’t meet indoors.

The Green Bible

The Green Bible, published by Harper Collins in 2008, was developed with the intention of being the first specialty bible to take the issue of creation care seriously. The original Green Bible used the New Revised Standard Version of the Christian bible (NRSV).
